Default Modified EWG FM 'JB 2560' Turbo Setup with Full Exhaust

I'm mulling over making some moves and getting a setup with an internal wastegate. I've enjoyed this setup a lot, but I drive the car to work at odd hours and could do without unwanted attention. This is thirdgen's old setup which he sold to start a k-swap.

Items included:
-FM Manifold with Tial 38mm EWG (watercooled). Comes with lines and the box of all the springs.
-SR20 turbo modified with larger wheel, so it's essentially a journal 2560. Modified wastegate to be ewg only. I know there were some SR turbos that were 'hybrid' BB and JB, but I don't believe that this is one of them.
Comes with oil lines. I can also include a restricter in case you end up needing it.
-FM DP
-Full FM 2.5 exhaust: midpipe with cat/resonator and muffler.
I have an NB1, so I'm guessing the exhaust won't work for folks with an NA8 without modifications to the hangars.

I'll include the BEGI intercooler piping that I got which comes with the AIT sensor and BOV. I'm running a fab9 stage 1 intercooler and can probably include the little odds and ends I have for piping if that helps, but you're much better off starting from scratch to be honest.

The DP and Elbow were modified for a V-band clamp.

Price reduced to 2100.
I'd be willing to split this into two packages if someone offers to buy package 1 first:
1) Manifold with turbo, ewg, downpipe, lines, the begi piping, etc. $1550
2) Full exhaust setup: mid pipe and exhaust. $550

NOT INCLUDED: MS3X, Intercooler, Injectors, and anything else I haven't mentioned.
Virtual dyno currently puts me at 230 rwhp/210 rwtq at ~12 psi with a pretty conservative timing map. I tuned it myself and didn't want to blow things up for obvious reasons. With EBC, I hit 12psi between 3200-3300 rpm when starting from 2k. I can share my tune if you really want it if you're running the same parts, i.e. mustang injectors, fab9/vibrant intercooler, MS3X, blah blah blah. Should help you get started, but you should tailor it for your exact setup for obvious reasons. From talking to thirdgen and others, I'd guess this setup is good for ~270-280 wheel tuned by someone that knows what they're doing.

I don't have pictures of the exhaust and midpipe, but these are the FM stock images.

These are the parts for reference:
https://www.flyinmiata.com/nb-flyin-...5-exhaust.html
https://www.flyinmiata.com/flyin-mia...5-inch-nb.html

Asking price is 2200 picked up, OBO. Price reduced to 2100. I can likely meet an hour or so from Worcester, MA if we can set something up over winter break in mid-late december, but I really don't want to have to ship this.
If it ends up not selling, I might just go to a welder friend and see if we can reroute the EWG to the downpipe to cut down on the noise. Figured it was worth a shot to see if anyone else was interested first.

This is a VD pull I did before I was playing with timing and wasn't done optimizing EBC. Pull is done at 12psi (185 kpa) with a bunch of timing pulled because I was testing out my knock sensor.

"I'll put a turbo on my miata", he said.
"It'll be a piece of cake and won't consume my life or cost me lots of time and money", he said.
Lol, GLWS.
Why are you selling your FM exhaust?

Actually, I haven't had to spend any additional money on your setup once I bought it. I've only had to spend time fixing my own boneheaded mistakes, ie things like forgetting to attach a vacuum line or not tightening piping correctly.

I dailied the car without issues until my crank pulley flew up from something hitting it and/or being over tightened.

Tldr: good setup, bad noob. Embarrassingly enough, I didn't know the difference between an iwg and ewg when I bought this. Yikes...

Re: FM exhaust. I'm on the lookout for another setup with iwg. I'm probably going to end up having an exhaust made to be quieter than most people sell stock.

My question is, what's your FM exhaust worth? Like, if you sold from the DP back, what would you ask for it?

I texted you! I'd split it up if someone was willing to buy all the other stuff. I've had a bunch of interest with doing that locally so it might not be a bad option.

Contrary to what most people thought, it was the diaphragm that was having an issue. I adjusted it and it's making boost totally fine. I think I'm spooling even faster now, so I need to adjust my settings. @ByteVenom was there pre/post issue so he can confirm that it works now. I have the setup listed locally as well and took a guy on a ride along. Woulda been kinda dumb to do that when the car couldn't make boost lol.

If the issue ends up coming back, it's a 50 dollar part. I'd consider the issue solved at this point, but it is a wear item so I guess it's fair to mention it.

On that note, another thing that I'd mentioned in my thread wayyy early on was a minor oil leak. I bought the restricter to address that but haven't installed it yet. The issue pretty much went away after I got a few new fittings and swapped to castrol euro formula 0w-40 from the euro mobil1. I remember reading on some old threads where Thirdgen and SamNavy and a few other folks had posted that they were using pop rivets as oil restrictors for JB turbos with similar issues, so the restrictor I got should be helpful for the future owner should they experience anything.

Anyone that has seen my thread knows that I 'overshared' because this is the first time I've done any of this. One of the benefits to that was that I'd get an angry text from Thirdgen every time I was about to do something stupid lol. Legitimately every stupid question I could have asked has been documented on there and folks told me that I was being an idiot before I could actually go through with being an idiot.

I love miata turbo!

While I was reticent to do so at first, I'd be willing to split this into two packages:
1) Manifold with turbo, ewg, downpipe, lines, the begi piping, etc.
2) Full exhaust setup: mid pipe and exhaust.

I'll update this later with pricing. PM me if interested.

Yeah, I'm aware. I posted on my thread. Haven't driven the car in a while and it's colder out. I adjusted the fueling when I got home. I was honestly pretty surprised when I saw the numbers. I need to make sure that there isn't a big difference between my gauge and within TS.

But ze sounddd!

I can attest that the Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonator is very effective...

Fantastic!

So buy the turbo/manifold setup and then report back with how things go with your exhaust!

Did you just see that thread? Or did you know about it before you purchased it?

I did. I think I posted in that thread before as well. I'm impressed every time I see it and I'm sure that my bringing attention to it doesn't hurt your ego lol. All jokes aside, I know you were pretty happy with how slick the setup is!

No harm, no foul. Would have been my fault anyway.

I've never seen it that low on a log. I need to make sure there isn't a difference between TS and the wideband. I had it set while idling, but it's possible it was a result of the temperature.

I'm starting my break-ish as of tomorrow evening.
I can likely deliver parts within a few hours of Worcester, MA (01604) or Fairless Hills, PA (19030) up till around the new year.

As mentioned, I'm willing to split up the turbo 'kit' and exhaust 'kit' into two kits as mentioned before. Prices are 1600 and 500 respectively, plus shipping OBO. I'd rather stay closer to the stated price and help with delivery a bit since that means you don't pay shipipng which saves you money and helps me out a bit as well.
