So you think by warning the forum before further transactions took place was a bad idea. You can't put it in your mind and think that if you had been someone purchasing from a scammer that you'd want to know the guy was selling scrap?

I'm talking hypothetical here, I know its a stretch for you since you use words like dueche, bitch, and *** over and over and over again. So I'll take it slow. I was trying to send out a warning flag to O-T-H-E-R-S incase you were a scammer. I didn't say you were, I-N C-A-S-E you were a S-C-A-M. Now we can grow up and use big boy words and think intelligently. We can't be 18 for3v3r, and walk around like sailors all our lives CUSSING everytime we get "ANGRY."

I know someone in West Palm, I'll see if he can mediate the transaction for me since I don't think I can trust someone like you any farther then I could throw you.

Travis, you are a one of a kind gem.
Forget about me working with your friend in WPB. Think after all this I'm going to go out of my way to make you feel comfortable?
YOU Send me the wheel, YOU'll have your refund via paypal, the end.

You can preach all you want about being trying to be a savior of the people, but the point remains there is a right and a wrong way to handle things. You chose to tell your 1/2 of the story, and label me as a scammer publicly. This was noted by 2 other forum members, before I even replied. Note that you didn't "hypothetically" do this, you L-I-T-E-R-A-L-L-Y did.

There was nothing to point you in this direction. If you were a member here longer you may know to look for certain things. Possibilities include that I've been on this forum for a long time, that I have a reasonable post count, that several people have commented on my feedback page--all positive transactions, etc.

Also, as any other educated person would do when purchasing an item that you are unable to inspect yourself, you may want to ask for more details before purchasing. Again, you failed to do this.

You then pay me, I ship you the item and as far as I know the transaction was complete and all was well.

With no further communication, I'm made aware of your issue by your slanderous and overly preemptive post. Using words like scam, liar, etc in your initial posts were
not only distasteful, childish, and an admitted attempt to interrupt potential sales but altogether unnecessary. Nonetheless I explained my part of the argument, and even offered you a quick and fair resolution to your claim, regardless of the fact that I did not agree with your interpretation of the facts.

You then continue to go on and on for no apparent reason. You have yet to acknowledge the fact that you are receiving immediate communication and a solution to the issue, and that this is not a scam. You have yet to retract your comments associating myself to your opinion of being a scammer, liar, etc. You continue to try and insult me with your unfounded comments, regardless of the fact that I've resolved your initial complaint.

So in summation, I can only formulate the following opinion of a person that conducts themselves in such a way....

Youz be da biggiz DOUCHE iz eva seenz...y dun u go *** urself, in dee ***..ship ma dam wheelz take yo money n choke on yo boyfrenz dik like the BITCH u rrr....mkay sailor?

Seriously, you have been offered a solution, and are yet to agree to it, and I'm sick of hearing your BS. Stop trying to trash me for nothing. Stop posting just send the damn thing so you can have your refund and be done with it.
I want absolutely nothing more to do with you.

No what you want me to do is ship to an address... that isn't yours. You offer no reason why I can't just ship to an address that is yours, and you're completely missing the fact that you lied about the description. You also won't allow me to use a mediator which makes me more comfortable. You won't give me any personal contact information, and you won't give me any kind of contract stating the exchange is formal. YOU SOUND SHADY. OK, I don't know if you think I'm going to send a hit man down there over $35 and you're scared or what, but it is just stupid. This sounds like a mafia trade off.

Have the goods in the case see... drop it off at a predetermined location see... You'll get what you've got coming to you. I swears on my uncle Vinnie It is about the stupidest thing I've heard.

When you say the steering wheel looks great and it is a little spongy you get the idea that the seller is being forthright by admitting its flawed. No reason to ask questions. I haven't met a person on this forum I haven't liked and got along with so I just kind of figured it'd work out alright. I gave you the benefit of the doubt already, and that was me sending you cash. You are the one who has the distance to travel on this deal not me.

I gave you MY business address, wtf you think I'm going to give out my home address to just anyone? And let's not forget that the address YOU gave me to ship to was also your BUSINESS address...

You also won't allow me to use a mediator which makes me more comfortable. You won't give me any personal contact information, and you want give me any kind of contract stating the exchange is formal.
No I won't use a "mediator", simple fact I don't meeting up with someone I don't know...and of course at this point there's no reason for me to make you comfortable. And you have my PM here, as well as my email address...NOT that you have asked for any personal contact info, besides an address to ship to..and not that I would give you any other personal info because its not necessary to do the refund, just as it was not necessary to make the purchase

YOU SOUND SHADY. OK,
No you sound like someone who's never bought anything off the internet, and are acting like I wronged you.

I don't know if you think I'm going to send a hit man down there over $35 and you're scared or what, but it is just stupid. This sounds like a mafia trade off.

I have no disagreements here, that is def the stupidest thing I have ever heard, why did you type it?

When you say the steering wheel looks great and it is a little spongy you get the idea that the seller is being forthright by admitting its flawed. No reason to ask questions. I haven't met a person on this forum I haven't liked and got along with so I just kind of figured it'd work out alright. I gave you the benefit of the doubt already, and that was me sending you cash.
And I too acted in good faith and promptly sent you the wheel. i did not try to pull one over, and have kept proving that by immediately offering you a refund...what else do you want man?

You are the one who has the distance to travel on this deal not me. See thats where you have this all wrong. I have the money, you have my item. I'm already offering to refund you, and thats as far as I have to go. I dont have to give you any more than my email, PM, shipping address, and 4offers now to refund you your money, do I?? I certainly don't remember you giving me your home address to ship the item, why would you think I owe it to you to do so?
Oh and by the way I responded all this in the PM you sent me. Why did you PM me and post here publicly?

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I CAN POSSIBLY DO TO MAKE THIS ANY EASIER?
Honestly, either send back the wheel promptly, or just deal with it. I won't give you any other personal info, or my home address, etc.. You have everything you need from me to get your refund. Either go ahead with it, or forget it. If you think that I'm going to keep dealing with this and offering you your money back for days and days your sadly mistaken.

AT THIS POINT I'VE DONE EVERYTHING IN MY ABILITY TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT. IT'S UP TO YOU TO CLAIM YOUR REFUND. IF YOU DON'T, THEN THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM.

Travis, I know all too well about what it is to be scammed....Just handle things privately first and go from there mmmk

Travis you need to chill dude. There's no way the OP would have been here this long if he was a scammer. You handled this all wrong, now put on your big boy shorts and admit you were wrong ("we cant be 18 forever") The OP offered you a refund and you are making it much harder than it needs to be.

If you bought something from Best Buy and werent happy with it when you got home, would you return it to the store and get a refund or would you call Fox news to alert the public about a "potential scam".

All you have done here imo is made you self look like an *** and your deffinately someone I would never sell anything to.

Hey I was trying to do what I thought was right. If I made anyone angy, or didn't follow protocol I apologize. I figured that’s what you always did. I've been ripped off a bunch of times, either not receiving something or what I received was wrong, and every time I treated it nice and gave the benefit of the doubt I ended up holding the stick and the other guy had my money.

Maybe I'm too cautious. You guys know him, and I don't. I understand personal character and he's been here for a while, but there's a lot of catholic priest that would still be laughing if we worked on that system.

I'm going to send this back to the O.P. address that he gave me, hopefully it works out.

Travis, glad this finally got sorted out. As I said before, I hope you post back here and put out the fire you started once you receive your refund. Stop sweating the address, its my business address..everything gets shipped to/from there, and it's a discount to ship since its a business so enjoy. You speak of being cautious, me not giving you my home address is me being cautious...I don't know of many people on the internet that would be comfortable giving out personal info to strangers...
That said, glad its done, and over with.

ICANTTHINK---sorry man carpets are on pending sale, I'll let you know if it falls thru and you'll have 1st chance to pick them up. I only have 1 set, they are from a 1996 (sorry had listed that in prev. thread) and I think they're all the same, but can't guarantee. FWIW the person that's buying them is putting them into a 1.6 so....
And sorry bout the convo, but what can I say...

and so it goes on I guess....looks like nothing will make you happy. I (and prob others) really expected something more along the lines of: "Yup got the money, glad it got sorted out thank you" but instead it's more like "thanks for the money, ur still a scumbag" even though not the exact words...

Well here's the deal, I kept my end of the bargain and held to my word even after all the back and forth. You on the other hand want to carry on.

Fine for the umpteenth time:

It's EQUAL responsibility for both buyer/seller to understand the transaction. MY side of the story is you never asked for further explanation when you were told it was flawed. I think most people would have at least asked "how bad?", in fact since this car is 13+yrs old every single person has asked me for condition on items and I've given 10000000% accurate descriptions.
I have the track record to back this up, as a matter of fact AFTER your "scammer alert" I received yet ANOTHER positive feedback...Funny thing is the comment he posted was something along the lines of "good description". Look it up, in fact look them all up, then go to clubroadster and ask around as many parts were sold on there as well.
I cant believe I have to waste time defending my rep because of the likes of an ignorant buyer..."thank you, please DONT come again"

Also, let's not forget I am also out money because of this, again equal. In fact I shipped you the wheel insured and through DHL ground, which cost more than your postage thru USPS to ship it back. So technically NOT equal....

Again with the shipping address/personal info. Your reference to using small words comes to mind....THE PLACE WHERE YOU SHIPPED IT TO IS MY BUSINESS. I OWN THAT COMPANY, PERIOD. It's public record for crying out loud, look it up and correct yourself before making these accusations and again trying to tarnish my name. I was THERE when it was delivered today.
And once again I have no reason to give out my personal info to a stranger over the internet. Esp someone as "off" as you seem to be. Where I reside is none of your business, period. Furthermore, as I told you in my PM I'd rather deal with things via email/pm as its a written record. You're so worried about a scam, yet would rather no documentation of the instance? C'mon...

Your a complete waste. No one has yet to agree with any points made, but people seem to accept the way I'm handling things just fine. Every post you make keeps pressing on about this more and more with nothing to back it up. I've even been told PM-ing people who have posted their opinions on the situation and favored ME and are
bothering them?? Trying to convince them I'm a scammer.... You need to just give it up and be done with it. Almost every part has been sold (over 25 so far) and NOT ONE complaint other than yours which has been addressed. Your not gonna get people to turn on me when I've done nothing wrong, and have gone out of my way to FIX this immediately...again IMMEDIATELY.

Now go ahead and repost all the wrong info again about how shady I acted, and how how dangerous the wheel was, and how you lost out on all your money all because of me...In the meantime I will just keep laughing at your ignorance and complete misunderstanding at how things should work...

TravisR, you need to take it easy. I cant believe you run a business with this attitude. The guy was decent enough to refund your money on what is after all a frivolous claim: 90% of early miata wheels are like this; its an 18 year old part and you're buying it for ******* 10% of its original price. Grow up.
