Just a word of warning to anyone here that might be considering purchasing items from Darek (Dhaark).
I paid Darek $245 in three separate Paypal installments (Oct. 10th, 12th, and 17th) to build me his MS1 v2.2 advertised in this ad (the harness and sensor was supposed to be included as well), but as of this date I have nothing from him. The last email I received from Darek was on October 18th, three weeks ago, and not a peep since. He has also failed to answer my emails requesting an update on his progress building the MS. Last Friday I emailed him requesting that he refund back into my Paypal account all monies sent to him. He has failed to do this too.
As a result, I have filed three separate Paypal disputes against Darek, requesting a refund for all three transactions made to him. I didn’t want to have to do this, but what else is a guy supposed to do who hasn’t received stuff he’s paid for and is ignored by the seller?
From what I have recently researched, it appears that I am not the only one who has had these kind of problems with Darek. At least one member on this forum and quite a few others on Clubroadster.net have had similar experiences (I can provide links if anyone wants them...pm or email me).
I apologize for posting this here since it sounds like a rant, but I figure other people need to be aware of it. I am not a regular poster here (I mostly lurk and read) but I am a regular on MT.net and go by the handle schrackman in case anyone cares to know.
