Had this on my 95 to tow a tire trailer, worked great. Fits 90-97 for sure, not sure about NB's. No clue on what company made it, I bought it here on the forum 7 or 8 years ago.

How noticeable is the receiver under the bumper?

 

Well, its a class 1 hitch receiver so its pretty small but you can see it. The receiver did not protrude out from the bumper on my 95. Any other questions, let me know.

I'm pretty sure this is the same one I have on my 91.

The receiver is very tight to the bottom of the bumper and doesn't stick out that far. This is a better design than the Curt hitch which sits too low and can scrape on the ground with a lowered car getting in and out of driveways.

I use mine with a tire tail to carry my track wheels. It is also great if you want to use a hitch style bicycle rack.
