I bought this last year to install in my 1990 Miata, but after struggling with shop competency and my own lack of familiarity, I decided I was overwhelmingly ill-prepared for this endeavor, and went a different direction.
I had the unit sent to DIY for a full evaluation. They concluded that everything was fine - it powers up, connects to laptop, etc, and sent it back to me with a clean bill of health. As I no longer need it, I’m passing it on to somebody else at a discount.
I’m not sure what other year it’ll fit, please do your research before buying.
Has a base tune and was setup for 640cc injectors, but I advise the buyer to double check all the settings prior to install and start up.
