Bought these brand new in box. They appear to be old stock. Never installed, zero miles of use. Paid 125 for them so asking for the same. Shiping should be no more than 15-20 bucks.

It has original manual form so I tried to look for spring rates, but could not find any info on them. Only came out with the below info if any one can determine spring rate from it. They are stiffer than stock, but slightly softer than Tein S-tech from my personal body weight compression testing.

Spring Type: Linear
Outside Diameter: 106mm
Wire Size: 10,75mm / 10,25mm
Spring Length: 235mm/275mm (f/r)
Max load: 625kg / 645kg
Total number of turns: 6,25 / 7,75

ttt

Braineack 04-18-2007 09:02 AM

K = Gd^4/8ND^3

where

G = shear modulus | (~11.0 X 10^6 psi) | 11000000
d = wire diameter | 0.423 F / 0.403 R
N = # of coils | 6.25 F / 7.75 R
D = coil diameter | (wire center to center) 4.173

so

F: 99.129 Lbs. R: 65.862 Lbs.

FWIW OEM NB springs are 154/105 FR....maybe i did the math wrong?

hmm. Well from body weight compression, the front sparco spring is much harder to compress than the rear of my Tein Stech at 174#. The height is slightly higher than the Teins all around.

~350lbs.

I think its like K x .55 or something close. I ran 16k/14k.... and it equated to about 900/800lbs on my civic.

Well that didn't work out. They can't hold the stock weight of the car on an empty tank with no one in it. Bottomed out.

Anyone else have springs that maintain the stock ride height but stiffer? Or recomend something?

Blue Sparco springs forsale. Best offer.
