Default NB Bomex/ AIT Garage Vary Bumper Group Buy - $180 (Pickup in Atlanta only)

I'm helping another guy from a local forum put together a group buy from Rush Kits on aftermarket NB bumpers. Choose from either Bomex or AIT/Garage Vary (fiberglass...replicas, I presume). Normally these bumpers cost $248 + $150 for shipping - or $398 total. By combining shipping and purchasing 10 of these at the same time, total cost is reduced to only $176.94 each.

Pickup in Atlanta only! Sorry, no shipping.

The deadline for this group buy is 11/23 (next Monday). All payments must be received by then; orders will be placed immediately on 11/24 and will likely be received the following week.

Payments can be made here:
Bomex: mx5 bomex bumper 4Sevens.Com
AIT/Garage Vary: mx5 AIT/GV bumper 4Sevens.Com

Items will be available for pickup at warehouse in Tucker, GA.

Here is a link to the Bomex bumper from the vendor:

Here is a link to the MX5Atlanta website where the group buy is being coordinated:

* note - AIT/GV will need some modification around the headlights to work with 01+ cars

Here are a few pics - credit to Doppelganger for the two GV pics! Not sure who the other two cars belong to, but props to them as well.

for some reason I don't think this how you properly set up a group buy, might want to ask the mods before it gets deleted.

Didn't see anything in the rules that would indicate this isn't the right way to go about it, and I see other group buy threads in the classifieds section all the time.

Ben/other mods - if for any reason this is in violation, feel free to delete.

Is there anywhere I can see about fit on one of these? The bomex looks like a good alternative to the unit from RB, somewhat interested. These are replicas, right?

Of course, still need to get it sent up north, somehow.

Thanks

It is legit, they are replicas, I know all parties involved. It's been in the works for a month now. The whole thing is set up at cost, there is $0 profit generated by the sale.

The guy who owns 4sevens drives a LS6 10AE. He's got a warehouse and truck dock to facilitate shipping.

I had a knockoff GV fitted to my 99 at one point and fitment wasn't bad at all, all I really had to do was give a little extra push to get the fender/bumper fasteners in place, but after that all was good.

this what really happens when you fit the bomex knock off.
fiberglass is unforgiving. you need to be creative, using the oem upper metal hanger, and cut the tabs on the fiberlass knockoff. this way the hood will fit.

Rush kits is very local to me btw.
what if i wanted to pick it up from him?

I don't think picking it up from Rushkits would be a problem - you could still get in on the group buy pricing of $180.

Very hard to guess at this angle, but my guess would be Diamond Racing.
