Ok, time for an update, a bit of stuff moved along.

I have two assembled motors, one fresh rebuilt, one known running, but I'm going to list the parts separately.

Heads:
'03 in good shape, all checks out, from running motor.
'01 with a fresh rebuild. I will keep one of these VVT heads, the other is for sale.
'99 head from running motor.
'01 VVT head, all rusty. Great for practicing porting, or...? Could use the cams from this if they clean up.

Blocks:
Suspected 1.8l NA block. Fresh rebuild on entire bottom end.
'99 (00?) block, complete, from running motor. ~70k miles.

Pans/Windage Trays. All can be tapped or have oil return welded in:
'99 - should be fine?
2x '01+ pans complete with main bearing support plates.

Manifolds:
'00 FM modified for second fuel rail, plus rail, moded.
'99 OEM stock intake mani
'01 OEM mani. Might have two of these, have to check if there's interest.

Misc:
An extra set of '01 pistons.
An extra set of '01 rods.
Various alternators, AC pumps, etc. Just ask.
A couple OEM exhaust headers.
Braces, engine mounts, etc
Set of OEM shocks, <30k miles, chopped springs (even), runs well.
Various EGR tubes, etc. Just ask.
'00 OEM Front Calipers, rotors and lines.
1 '99 flywheel/clutch (~70k)
'99 Throttlebody
possible '01 TB.
'00 AC box from behind glovebox

Electronics:
FM Link Piggyback set up, computer, injectors, wiring, etc.
A few sets of OEM injectors, some volvo ones, and a few OEM mazda rails.
OEM CD player, moded for remote input with cables/fuses
Power Mirror (driver's side) motor assembly (plastic shell & mirror cracked, otherwise complete)
Power window motor/rail/cable, driver's side
Power lock mechanism, driver's side
OEM tweeters, non-bose
OEM speakers, non-bose
single BOSE driver's side speaker
Door panel, tan, driver's side, "bose", with cracked tweeter section (salvagable I think)
'00 ignition coil
'00 ignition coilpack
Various sensors, (O2, TPS, Cam/crank) etc, just ask.
Lots of headlight bulbs. :-)

Wheels:
1 set 14" '99 OEM 14x6 11 lb wheels. (I think it's 11.) Tires need removal.
1 set Ronal 17x7 (17x8?) very good looking, very heavy wheels. With 'fresh' Khumos.
3x Kosie 15x7's in gunmetal. If I can fund getting new wheels, I might, but I'm not really looking to get rid of these. :-)

$75 + shipping. It's complete with all gizmos/valves/etc. :-) Will knock $15 off in a couple weeks after I'm sure no one wants the '99 motor or head/mani complete.

'01 pan, with brace, $250. I'm out of town for a week. Sure, Matt, I'll sell you the mani. :-) Had lots of interest, but money in hand DOES talk. :-)

Yeah - I have a '99 head. Someone kinda wants the whole motor but is dragging. And I can't beat offers for the manifold away with a stick, so I might just go ahead and part that out. :-)

How much for the rust 01 head? How complete? Are the cam journals themselves ok?

I'll give that head a better look when I get home. The rust on the cams is pretty deep. And I'll talk to my shop and see if they see any value in practicing on it. You want it for a head, or for???

Yes, Matt, I hate to say it, but you do sort of have dibs. Unless shipping is like $25, it's yours.

I'm not sweating the cams as much as the journals on the head itself. Like preferably in unscratched condition. I would eventually, like over a yr from now, be getting cams from integral anyway.

if you've got a buyer for the whole thing, that's cool. I'm seriously in no hurry for the parts. you're just a trusted seller and i'm an opportunist.

Neo: Will look, my feeling is there's light rust on everything.

Matt: Naw, just another forum member who wants just a mani. There's a guy who wants the head, so I guess it's his call, the whole-motor people are a lot slower. I do feel bad splitting up what's a turnkey setup with a fresh rebuild, but who am I to question market forces?

Default Highest and Best...

Hey people, it looks like I've got a whole bunch of people interested in the 99 head, and a couple in 2k1's... Just let me know what it's worth to you, and what you want with it (cover, cams, fuel rail, injectors, sensors, cam gears, manifold, throttle body, etc etc) and I'll just pick someone and send it out later this week. I never really got any solid dibs on it, so I figure this is fair.

Hopefully, no one wants the mani (or they want the secondary fuel rail one for matt's sake). :-) BTW, Matt, there's nothing un-stock (aside from port matching) on the mani with secondaries, except four holes. Plug them or weld over them (I could even have that done) and it'll be 100% as stock. Still, it's nice if someone wants to run secondaries, water injection, or whatever.

Also, anyone wanting the '99 motor complete with a fresh rebuild better speak up, it's about to become a shortblock.
