Never used GT2560
A while back I was hoarding parts just in case my existing turbo died. The present turbo is working fine and I am thinking about building a trackspeed rental like NA car and getting rid of the turbo for now. Anyways, I have a never used GT2560 for sale. I am asking $800 shipped to the contiguous states.

i bought it from a guy who accidented his car.he bought it 1300 and was selling it 900$, so i jumped on it.
to learn afterwards it was a rebuilded one, not a brand new one like previously stated. and the .83 housing was just too much boost treshold for my daily driving on a stock 1.6. changing the housing was 300$ so i prefered to re-sell it and go for a new one from garrett, better suited for my goal/setup anyway. got it gone, so i'm waiting for the guy deposit for my turbo to give it to you, and should gave the 500 left within 2-3 weeks |
ok got buttfucked by the guy, got the deposit but now he dosent want my turbokit anymore.
dont want to make you loose ure time , i allready spent way too much of it i'll msg you if i have an oppening |
Bump. The turbo is still available.

+1. Send me money and I will send you the turbo.

I'm sorry..everyone here must be balling out of control..ehh whats $800 if i never recieve the part. Buying shit from people you've never met and halfway across the country is more complicated than meeting in person. I cant even see what im buying before i do. And Its not as if its $500 and some crazy good deal i have to jump on right away. I've got a local shop quoting me $939 for a brand new one. So im gonna risk $800 to save about $100 after shipping costs and im not suppose to even consider i could get screwed..come on. Im sure evryone here is really cool( i got my turbo kit from codrus) but then again he met me down the street.
It is $800 including shipping. If you are so afraid of getting screwed, why do even bother posting here?
Seriously. What if a meteor hits you on the way to the store? Or what they sell you locally is actually made out of soda cans?
We all have to manage our risk mitigation, if you don't trust things because they're online, that's fine, don't buy them online. But signing up (five posts) just to come in and rip on a guy about how he could screw you in his own for sale thread is extremely tacky. We could either be rich, or trust one another, founded or unfounded. |
If you look at my first post you could see that i want to do business with him but just looking for a little security like a pay pal transaction. I didnt rip anyone. im trying to buy an 800 item off of him. Dont flatter yourself on posts either. I fell outta miatas for awhile but had well over 500 posts before. Chances of someone fucking you online are a whole lot more likely than getting hit by a meteor on the way to a store. So nagase you trust someone just cause they are on miataturbo.net, what are saying? There is always a chance of finding someone local posting items for sale on miataturbo thats why i look.
If you're too scared to buy stuff off a forum member why even post in this thread?
Im not scared to buy from someone. But like i said before i got fucked before from someone on miata.net. Reider has 2 feedbacks and a hundred or so odd posts. Not as if he has tons of feedback like you and some crazy amount of posts. If a forum member has something for sale i would like to help them out since i need it anyway, rather than go to a retailer in the first place. All i was asking was if paypal was an option. Its always better to be careful thats all i was saying. Id say most people on miata.net and here are upstanding good people. I like to consider myself as such caliber aswell. Redrider pm me with contact info/bank account number and we can handle this. Also you said it comes with no fittings. Specifcally what fittings would i need? im guessing for the coolant/oil lines?? Thanks, i really need a turbo. Sorry not trying to be a pain, i just work hard for my money and dont want to see it get wasted thats all.
Sure, I will take paypal. You will need oil and coolant lines and fittings. You should also get a oil feed restrictor to reduce the oil pressure reaching the bearings/seals. If you don't use a restrictor you will have oil leaking past the seals and other issues. The turbo comes just as it does from a retailer, just the bare turbo with a waste gate.
Restrictor - http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant...egory_Code=GRT Coolant banjo fittings - http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant...egory_Code=GRT Oil return flange - http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant...egory_Code=GRT or http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant...egory_Code=GRT I will PM you my paypal id. -Raj |
I will need 2 coolant flanges correct? One in and one out I assume. And obviously one oil restrictor fitting and one for the drain correct? I should be able to get my friend to paypal you the money tomorrow. When you ship it could you make sure that i dont need to sign for it. Chances are i wont be around to sign for it. Any shipping service will do but a tracking number would be great aswell. Once i get that money sent to you I will forward you contact information. thanks.
Sorry couldnt pm this to you without having 15 posts. If you would pm me your email so that i may send you my contact info that would be great. thanks again |
Yes, you will need two of the banjo kits. Just make sure you get the correct lines for oil and coolant. From you previous posts it sonded like you have some sort of kit already, don't you have oil and water lines with them?
Yea I purchased an older fmII link kit from a forum member. He provided an oil feed. Other than that i need a return and coolant lines. Ive been in contact with Fm about getting pieces that did not come with the kit. Currently i still need the turbo hardware, 02 signal modifier, oil return and coolant lines, and a few fittings. It was a pretty complete kit but the po kept some parts as he was keeping his miata(ie no turbo), just running a new Hydra setup. Im going to order all said pieces from FM including a wide band and an exhaust maybe(still havnt decided a route to go yet), any suggestion? I want to keep her quiet as can be.
I have no idea about exhausts. I was thinking about getting ARTech to fabricate me a nice 3" setup. Here is a link to his thread: https://www.miataturbo.net/artech-fabrication-miata-accessories-79/custom-exhaust-48225/
I think it would be a better investment than getting a FM unit. |
Yea those look nice. wish i had an NA. Still cant PM. My friend said itll take a couple days to get money from his checking into his paypal. Could i wire you the money or drop it in a bank account? Let me know thanks.
No hurry, I can wait a couple of days.
alright thank you
Picture of turbo?
Don't have a picture of the turbo. It looks like a new GT2560.
Screw my friend. just set up my paypal tonight. Headed to bank tomorrow morning to deposit some money, you should receive soon after, ill let you know. appreciate you waiting for me.
Also the link for the oil flange...the first one is if i am running a hard line and the second is if i am running a silicone line correct? Just wanna get the right stuff and defiently will be going with the metal line, i heard that was the way to go.

Now you got me worried. Either way works right?
Regardless, the turbo can be made to work. If either the compressor or inlet are flanged, you need to buy the adapter(s).
This could potentially add another 50-60 dollars toward the installation price, though. So, it's something worth inquiring about before pulling the trigger. |
If you're putting together your own kit, a little less of a hassle. For me, I have the FM intercooler pipes and inlet pipe...meaning I'd have to change out the compressor housing. I prefer the cleaner look of the slip-on inlet/outlet..and it's one less thing to deal with.
It has the flanged inlet and outlet on the compressor housing.
Bump.
Bump. Still got it. Doesn't anybody want a good deal on a turbo.
Fsck, I guess I will just keep it then.
Why? You can still sell it. Just post up some pics/info and adjust the price a bit.
