Default Never used GT2560

A while back I was hoarding parts just in case my existing turbo died. The present turbo is working fine and I am thinking about building a trackspeed rental like NA car and getting rid of the turbo for now. Anyways, I have a never used GT2560 for sale. I am asking $800 shipped to the contiguous states.

Don't worry, just wanted to make sure you are still interested. Let me know when you get the money.

Why'd you sell the 2871 to get a 2560?

i bought it from a guy who accidented his car.he bought it 1300 and was selling it 900$, so i jumped on it.
to learn afterwards it was a rebuilded one, not a brand new one like previously stated.

and the .83 housing was just too much boost treshold for my daily driving on a stock 1.6.

changing the housing was 300$ so i prefered to re-sell it and go for a new one from garrett, better suited for my goal/setup

anyway. got it gone, so i'm waiting for the guy deposit for my turbo to give it to you, and should gave the 500 left within 2-3 weeks

Idea: Give him money and he gives you the turbo.

I'm sorry..everyone here must be balling out of control..ehh whats $800 if i never recieve the part. Buying **** from people you've never met and halfway across the country is more complicated than meeting in person. I cant even see what im buying before i do. And Its not as if its $500 and some crazy good deal i have to jump on right away. I've got a local shop quoting me $939 for a brand new one. So im gonna risk $800 to save about $100 after shipping costs and im not suppose to even consider i could get screwed..come on. Im sure evryone here is really cool( i got my turbo kit from codrus) but then again he met me down the street.

It is $800 including shipping. If you are so afraid of getting screwed, why do even bother posting here?

Seriously. What if a meteor hits you on the way to the store? Or what they sell you locally is actually made out of soda cans?

We all have to manage our risk mitigation, if you don't trust things because they're online, that's fine, don't buy them online. But signing up (five posts) just to come in and rip on a guy about how he could screw you in his own for sale thread is extremely tacky.

We could either be rich, or trust one another, founded or unfounded.

If you look at my first post you could see that i want to do business with him but just looking for a little security like a pay pal transaction. I didnt rip anyone. im trying to buy an 800 item off of him. Dont flatter yourself on posts either. I fell outta miatas for awhile but had well over 500 posts before. Chances of someone ******* you online are a whole lot more likely than getting hit by a meteor on the way to a store. So nagase you trust someone just cause they are on miataturbo.net, what are saying? There is always a chance of finding someone local posting items for sale on miataturbo thats why i look.

If you're too scared to buy stuff off a forum member why even post in this thread?
