Diameters of inducer and exducer on both wheels?
|
Very interested, obviously have to assume its not a real Garrett. Is it identical to a real 2871?
|
What are the compressor flange measurements?
|
"wet float type" bearing? Or ball bearing?
|
does it not hit block??
interested as well in the compressor/turbine diameters |
Can you show a pic of the turbine side with the wg flapper open?
|
also interested would it be direct replacement for my garett 2554?

It is not a true Garrett. I will pull measurements today on it!
-Sam |
How hard is it to reclock one of these the outlet is pointing the wrong way for my begi setup?
|
Updated first post!
-Sam |
It is pretty easily clocked, we haven't mocked this up on a Miata yet, so no idea if it will impede with fitment.
-Sam |
specs look good! quick glance it looks pretty much like a journal bearing 2871 (48trim)
|
Lol "enlarged wastegate port". I was curious because I've had to dremel out a couple churbo's already. Takes for damn ever.
|
BUMP!
-Sam |
any word on will it fit on miata clocked to exit down.
|
Tell me the measurements of the compressor inlet and outlet, and tell me if it's journal bearing or ball bearing. After that, I might offer you money for it.
|
Should have no problem fitting a dowards clock, as a matter of fact it should anyware almost anyware a T25/T28 would.
Yes its Very much like a 2871 just with a little more top end. Compressor inlet: 2.75" and outlet is 2" I will have the shop double check on monday. It is oil and water cooled journal bearing. |
I will call you then monday morning to discuss
|
Would this be to big a turbo for a 1.6? I dont want horrible lag?

Still for sale I'm assuming? Is it 4 or 6 bolts at the chra to turbine housing clamp? I had a wastegate bracket made for my t25 I wanna make sure will transfer over. It uses two of the four bolts on my chra to turbine housing.
Thanks |
