Default Potential 1.8/1.6 low mount turbo manifold GroupBuy

Sup guys, been wanting to make this for a little while and now I am ready with something that i think it worth making, do let me know what you guys think

This is efr 6758, it clears the steering rod but for the exhaust side the tab on the gbox will need to be removed and possible issue with the intake and ps but something can be made to fit

As far as the GB will go, it will be a 5 months waiting time, while the project is 80% complete there is no point in promising faster turn around

I will need some serious numbers to make this happen so please bare with me, its a long read

So GB will be for both 1.6 and 1.8 manifolds

GB price for the manifold and inconel studs will be £350 shipped and it needs to be paid in full, discount applies as explained below

GB price for manifold and vband adapter will be £500 shipped, this is for manifold, cast vband adapter (cast elbow) 1 x 3" female vband flange, 1 x 3" vband clamp 9 x inconel studs

If there more than 15 people taking part then the price will go down by 7%, if there's more than 25 price will go down another 7%, PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE A MAXIMUM OF 25 UNITS for each GB

3" downpipe to 3" 2 bolt flange or 3" vband will be £130 shipped and not discounted at any point

Full 3" exhaust with STC mid muffler and 18" magnaflow muffler will be £600 extra shipped. I will need at least 10 orders to make this happen and can only be purchased if buying the manifold (part payment is ok)

Payment will be done by paypal as goods and services and to make things easier I will do 50% deposit and balance sometimes in November

This GB will have maximum 25 Units for each engine type and there will be no more until June 2019 , there are no refunds, you can however sell your place to somebody else

Any questions I am here

Do you have any pictures of the manifold you plan to use? Even a computer render would work.

Very interesting method of prototyping turbo positioning, but I also would love to see a manifold rendering, so I can criticize it's lack of flow with my self taught internet flow analysis skills.

I am not really ready to show the manifold or the cast elbow in its entirety, if the GB fails to go ahead i need to keep it secret for a bit longer while I decide what to do next, if anything

Not sure you'll get a lot of interest if you're not willing to show your hand.

May have to wait a bit then, just wondering if a ewg option would be desirable and if yes vband or not ?

If built around the EFR and T2 flanged stuff Id say EWG is not necessary.

That being said, there are a lot of people messing with these cars now and many want to use big turd turbos, so EWG should be very attractive to them. For mass appeal I would add provisions for a 35mm v band Tial and build it so you can drill it for T3 as well.

I'm all for simplification, and after spending the money on the EFR, would prefer to not have an EWG.

Any chance you could show a well lit photo of the compressor outlet and subframe clearance?

This is all I have for now, will take some more photos in the next couple of days

I shall wait for further input regarding ewg, a heat shield 100% on the cards though
