Pre-order: SquirtForce PnP ECU for 90-95 Miatae
Introducing SquirtForce! We have a brand new but not so new ECU that will be available in the new year.
This microsquirt-based ECU is small, basic, and inexpensive, but perfectly capable of enabling you to go turbo without any bandaids.
We've stripped back the number of features to make full stand alone as accessible as possible. So if you need sequential spark, onboard logging, or oodles of i/os, you should definitely get the very excellent and fully featured MS3Pro PnP (which we will gladly sell you). If you need just the essentials and an easy plug and play experience, and you don't have an extra $600 burning a hole in your pocket, then this ECU is for you.
Features:
Hardware
Microsquirt main board (it's like MS2, but physically smaller)
PnP for 1990-1995, 1.6 or 1.8
4x high impedance injector drivers
2x logic level spark outputs
1x A/C relay output
1x Optional boost/spare output
1x Thermofan relay output
1x A/C switch input
1x Clutch switch input
2.5bar onboard MAP sensor
0-5V linear wideband input
Software
Speed density/alpha-n/ITB fuel/spark modes
16x16 fuel table
12x12 spark table
12x12 AFR target table
Closed/Open loop idle control
Closed loop lambda control
Closed/Open loop boost control with overboost protection
Launch/flat shift control (using OEM clutch switch)
The ECU comes pre-loaded with a base map, so just plug it in, follow the simple guide, and fire it up
There are half a dozen SquirtForce powered cars zipping around so far, and we are ready to make this more widely available.
The target price of this little beauty is $599, but we will take pre-orders for $499 until January 1 including shipping within the lower 48. We expect to ship in late January.

New feature alert - we've just added two features to the final-for-now design:
1. 90-93/94-95 switchability. That's right, one perfectly acceptable ECU, jumperable between two year ranges.
2. High current ignition drivers. Power R8 coils and other low impedance ignition options that require high current signal circuits.

I think the main reason folks look for alternatives is price, so we are aiming to make it even more easy and affordable to go with the established standard.

I agree that you can save a lot of time an effort by following a well trodden path.
I don't want to discount the fact that if you have what it takes,
it can be worth it to trod an entirely new path. More options in the market and more paths trodden can only be a good thing.
Additionally, from what I've seen, the speediuno does what it does really well and it's hard to beat it at a budget option.
And you don't have to sacrifice sequential injection.

I'm getting real tired of seeing you crap up the forum with this bs hate, ESPECIALLY since you don't even have the haltech working yet or can even confirm definitively that it's better. How about focus this energy on setting up your new ecu and proving to us all that it's the new hotness before you spew more hate? Or crap up a solid/reputable vendor's thread.
