I have a non-running 90 1.6 with the head pulled off, unknown whats wrong. and a 94 1.8 still in the car, not running, I think it's the rings. Oil pan to valve covers. The 1.8's oil pan is tapped. and some other misc stuff ie intake and exhaust manifolds, flywheels etc.

Good start for a build project.

I removed the CAS to use with my 1.8 swap. I was planing on cutting the gear cover off and painting it to sell, but I'll just throw it in for an extra $10.

So for $35 +ship you get everything but the CAS.

Any idea on what a 1.6 head weighs? I have it at work, so I'll just guess at 40# with vc. Do you have a preferred method?

 

Kind of interested in the 1.8 motor, really only need the head, but if the price is right I can take the whole thing. I am local and could pick up monday if you have it ready by then.

JohnX, The 1.8 has new oil pump, H2o pump, TB, and bearings < 500 miles. I think the rings are bad. I will take $300 for the long block, you can have the long block and trans for $550. $100 if you only want the head.

Where are you local? I won't have it out of the car by Monday, but if you commit I can have it out on the following Wednesday,(going camping, sorry). But if you only want the head I can pull that out tomorrow afternoon, as long as you let me know ASAP.

I'll take the whole setup. Trans and motor. I can pick up next weekend, no real rush. I am in Rancho Cucamonga, 'bout an hour drive. I have a truck as long as you have a cherry picker or something to load with...or we can man handle it?
