It took longer to pull the bumper then it did to cute out the center section and bolt in the support bar.

 

Did anyone get a number for the weight of the parts removed yet?

 

I can dig the piece of metal I cut off out of the trash today and try to weigh it.

The piece I cut out was 1lb 14onces. Not sure if actually heavier then the bar or not, but all the room it frees up is great.

 

Thanks. I've been trying to find a weight on the front crash structure garbage that gets removed as well but am coming up empty handed. Removing the front end on my car is a pain in the ***...

 

Plastic piece with the two metal pieces that you take off are 12lb
Center cut out piece 1.9lb

Bar you bolt in the place is 5.5

Weight savings-8.4lb
