Default Rear facing sheet metal intake on ebay

This part was on a FWD BP car, but just putting it out there in case anyone wants to play around with a cockpit mounted w2a intercooler for ballast or the like.

Mazda BP sheet metal alumunim intake manifold : eBay Motors (item 170446547871 end time Feb-21-10 18:30:08 PST)

Here is a discussion regarding that proposed setup.

Just cut the tubes and swap it around the right way?

Oh, and a shocker that your 11th post is in the for sale section.

That's an option too. But if the runner length remains the same the throttle body would be pointing towards the hood.

And yes, 10 posts are required to post there. Figured a legitimate technical discussion would be better than going around posting "COOL RIMS!" in 10 existing posts.

Any flow numbers? Did you have any issues with any cyl. running leaner (that is if you logged individual EGT?)

No, never had the manifold flowed. It made 20 more hp at 20psi with no other changes done over a stock BPT intake manifold.

no, no dyno sheets. I'll try to get some from the previous owner but doubt I'll have them before the auction ends. That engine was a stock BP05 motor that made right around 300whp at 20psi. It's ultimate demise was caused by a bent rod at that boost level, not any sort of lean situation.

here is a quick vid of the car with a new low compression engine (600 miles on it at the time of this video) running 16psi. This is a 2400 pound car on all season radials.
