Default Rock Auto closeouts

Rock Auto just sent me a closeout list for 1997 Miatas. Some interesting stuff and crazy low prices:

Awesome post. Anyone got any recommendations on brake pads from there that would work for a DD? Don't need anything overly performance related as the car will only be used on the street.

Thanks for consolidating Shibby--great work! Ps., these are "wholesaler" discount prices. No guarantee you'll get them at checkout, but at these prices it's worth a try.

BTW -- you enter the coupon code in the "How did you hear about us?" box at checkout.

Re: Brake pads -- I ordered Akebono ceramic rear pads (Akebono is an OEM pad manufacturer for Toyota) and API ceramic front pads as the API's where the only ceramic fronts that I saw.

I run the cheapest ones they have in the rear. Look like they are made of cardboard. But work fine

Got brake pads, an air filter, and a couple Gates belts for the Miata. Then placed a second order for brake pads, air filters, cabin air filters, and headlight bulbs for the Sentra and RAV4. Great deal all around. Those closeout RSS feeds are awesome, going to add those to my Feedly reader.

Thanks boss. I got a Continental timing belt, plug wires, air filter, clutch slave, and cam seals for $35 shipped. The 5% discount worked for me. Pretty awesome deal!

Never done the upkitty, now I'm handing them out like candy on Halloween in this thread.

I prob. won't be ordering anything before the 7th, if anyone needs a code:

Your RockAuto discount code 3903231321157829 will expire on February 7, 2016.
first come first served, obviously.

Right side of page, "Go to RockAuto catalog". Open link in new tab. Select your choice of cheap parts. Lather rinse repeat until wallet empty/desires fulfilled.

This thread is still 100% win, but I will say that actual RSS feeds are useless. The feed doesn't see each item individually, so you don't really get notified when a new closeout item is added to the feed. You just get a daily notification that contains the full list of closeout items. Unless you feel like reanalyzing that list every single day, you'd never notice new items being added.

EDIT: I said "daily" notifications, but that's not right...apparently it refreshes whenever the list is changed/updated, but it still sends the whole list, not just the new item.
