For sale is a complete oil pan to valve cover 1.8 liter engine that is out of my 97' miata. It comes with the 97' intake manifold and everything else minus cam angle, crank angle sensors, timing plate. In great condition and ran fine and still got 29 mpg.

Now for the bad news...

Prolly needs new rings, it burns 1 quart every 500-1000 miles.

Asking 400 dollars picked up.

Don't scrap yet man. I just blew my engine on Fri and I am 6 hrs south of you. Serious interest. Gotta sort some stuff here the next couple days, but I will get back to ASAP once I do. Any more details on the engine? I forget, was your car boosted?

 

Lol, i'm not going to scrap it, but i'm not giving it away for free, lol. Yes the motor was turbocharged and supercharged, but its a smooth runner and with an affordable rebuilt, such as a top end freshing on the valve seats and having the head plained, plus replacing the rings, it will prolly be good to go.
