Can check on media that he uses as I personally do not do it, guy that I outsource all my powdercoating and welding jobs to is actually the one that preps these...I just have a large stash of Squaretops at the moment...

I would check, your painter might be ruining your stuff... Like mine did. Take a picture of the inside of the manifold, It will become obvious with a flash.
