Default Steering Wheels, MSSS1, & Goodies

Any idea if the one you think is a Daikei is for air bag or non?

Knowing it came with one of the Momo wheels I imported last year, it's likely for a non-airbag car. I don't see how it would be different though.

Rev9 has some huge warning on his listing for these hubs stating that there are two different hubs for airbag vs non, and they are not cross compatible. I'm dubious myself, but unsure if i'd want to take the chance at $80 unless we could verify for sure that it was actually a Daikei. I've only ever had airbag cars, so i couldn't speak personally to what he's talking about.

I'd be putting it on an NB1. Basically i'm just looking for something that looks classy, fits, and lets me easily figure out how to keep the horn working, because i'm dumb and can't figure out hard things.

Totally understand. It's obviously something most people are going to just take a chance on.

Im very negotiable on this one for the simple fact that I'm lacking information on it. Hopefully my loss, someone else's gain.

Added photos.

I believe NA steering column is different between early (non airbag) and late (airbag) models. However, late NA hubs fit NBs. I know that because I have sold two NA Daikei hubs to two guys with NBs. Horn plays nice too; all it takes is a small piece of metal, a wire, some electrical tape and 5' (or less). You need to remove the clockspring though, and there's a small gap between the hub and the column plastic cover. A resistor is also needed to turn off the air-bag warning light (that's what all airbag defeat kits do).

Bit more hassle; however worth it if you already have the hub.

Thanks for your input HarryB. It's a super easy installation. I have that small gap too with my Daikei hub. Looks stock. Came out really nice.

Sold a bunch of parts last week. Many still available. Let me know if you're interested in anything and I'm sure we can work something out.
