Head is spoken for, rest is still free game.

You don't happen to have the oil pan for the 03 motor do you? Or any of the wiring by chance?

hackerchris 04-01-2009 10:41 PM

I don't have an oil pan for it. The only wiring I have is for the injectors/fuel rail.

rlogan 04-01-2009 11:14 PM

I'll take that...

greenday3437 04-02-2009 12:27 AM

Will you sell just the axle shafts by themselvs? If so what are you looking to get?

ThePass 04-02-2009 02:05 AM

What are the specifics of the T1 Torsen vs the later?

You want the wiring for the injectors/rail?

If no one buys them with the carrier in the next week you can buy them separate. I hadn't really thought of a price for them. Offer?

There is no proof that one is different than the other. Some say one is better than the other, but I have heard it both ways. Both look exactly the same. Only difference I know of is this is from a 94-95.

Not a definitive answer, but:
"The Zexel web page says the type I is more 'sport' oriented and the TypeII is less active. (http://www.zexel.co.jp/zxle/product/torsen_e.htm ) I understand the gears are reversed in the TypeII meaning that it provides the best bias when deaccelerating and a subdued bias when accelerating. FWIW, An ex-Ford drivetrain engineer on the autox list said he tested the TypeI and II in the Mustang for the then new SN95 Cobra and he hated the TypeII for autox like maneuvers"

You can see what makes them different internally here:

I wish you would have posted his about 2 days earlier, I would have bought both.

If you decide to sell them seperately, let me know and we can PM about prices.

Thanks.
