toyota coils for COP conversion w/plugs
2 Attachment(s)
i have 2 sets of toyota coils.
part number on both sets is 90919-c2002. they are from a 2.4L 2az-fe motor. im sure they'll work for COP conversions but i havent seen anything with this part number. 1 set includes connectors for making your own harness- SOLD! the other set is just the coils, no connectors-$SOLD |
so you haven't tried them? did you just find them in a salvage yard or something? I'm interested in COPs but not enough to trust assumptions on new part numbers...

They came off a junkyard engine that was going into a car here at work.
They were tested and are working. The only faux pas is they are off a 2az motor not a 1zz motor as People typically use. I'll toss them on a 1zz here in a bit and see if there's any fitament issues. |
Interested in the set with pigtails, but yeah.. They gotta fit!
Can anyone confirm that these will not only fit the 1zz, but definitely work? Jesse |
Tested fitament on a 1zz, they are about a inch longer and where they seal to the valve cover is a bit smaller.
I have adjusted prices accordingly. I'm sure the coil function is the same as 1zz coils, size is slightly different. They probably won't bolt up to a readily made coil bracket but could be used With a DIY bracket. |
These will not fit miatas, there to tall and too wide they won't go into sparkplug hole

Too tall, sure, by an inch.
But too wide? How bout this, I'll just take a picture of one of them in a miata spark plug tube. |
Thank you for honesty, good deal for someone who can make them work, rig up some spacers!

finally got those pics.
dude with the big gay white steering wheel was wrong, imagine that. they are an inch too tall as i described but fit in the wells perfect. great for a diy guy who can fab a spacer/bracket. this was on a 1.6 |
