PM me on the carbon hood. Won't really be any weight savings over the hood that you picked up since that one was light already. It would have to be dry carbon to make a difference and I found out it is REALLY expensive to do dry carbon because it must be bought in a full roll, which is about $5000 and kept refrigerated at all times. Even then, it has a somewhat short shelf life.
