Damn the dark side can be tempting when deals like this come along..

If you've got a good, black, loop carpet interior I need the parcel shelf and vertical behind-the-seats pieces along with some other interior do-dads. I'm in Houston for a couple more days, and will be back again around the 21st.

Nevermind: realized both parts are most likely cut for the rollbar...

cpoindexter 12-17-2010 09:33 PM

Pics of oil cooler setup please. Also condition of the injectors?

rharris19 12-17-2010 09:38 PM

I will have a picture first thing in the morning. Injectors were fine when pulled. They were cleaned by witch hunter 2000 miles ago.

2.5" I believe, but it is all going together with the turbo kit. I really don't want to split everything up.

can someone shed a a little more light on the link ecu...this is a piggyback i have gathered that, but what kind of set up would this work most efficiently on? im looking to put about 10-12psi on a t-28.

rharris19 12-21-2010 04:36 PM

This link is a full stand alone and not a piggy back. There is no one steup that it works better on, but allows you to tune the ecu for whatever your setup is. The Link ECU is very easy to use and pretty straight forward.

I'm considering selling a kidney for those Teins.

At 800ish lbs of spring rate up front, is it tolerable to drive on the street? I don't own a trailer nor do I have intentions of buying one in the near future. My cars far from a daily driver, however, I would like to be able to drive the car on the street without rupturing a disc.

I've heard their pretty 'comfortable' given the high spring rates and having driven a MS3 on cobblestone and potholed streets daily, I'm not exactly coming from Cadillac plushness.

curly 12-31-2010 01:01 PM

Mine seems like a bit of a go kart at 400/350. It's great for marble smooth surfaces, but it's too stiff for daily driving, so 800 is way too much. Is that really what 14k springs are, 800lbs?

Keep in mind my DD is a bone stock Lancer, I love the suspension and won't ever be changing it, so I like a fairly comfy DD.

rharris19 12-31-2010 07:06 PM

We have a set of these on a car that is driven around on the street with the 10kg springs and we just set the shocks on the softest setting. If 14kg is too much, then the 10Kg are included with it as well. It really isn't bad on something that isn't a daily.

Valves still available?

chinesemafia 01-07-2011 07:59 PM

how much for the bov bro?

curly 01-07-2011 08:03 PM

The one that's already sold? Better look elsewhere.

Supramantrm, FWIW, Robert's an incredibly stand up guy, I've dealt with him numerous times. He's also busy and his life doesn't revolve around MT.net. Give him some time, more than 2 days. Don't fret, you will get a turbo kit or $1700 one way or another.

abe2branscome 01-07-2011 09:25 PM

you have pm

rharris19 01-09-2011 10:43 AM

Hey guys, sorry for the delay in response. I was hospitalized with and inflamed appendix and got pneumonia while I was there for the last 8 days and had to call some people to get everything. I am sorry for the delay in response, I truly am. Everything went out last week and I will be sending the tracking numbers after I post this.

No problem, thanks for the response.

Ideally I am looking for a 10kg spring with matched valving.

For shits and giggles I'm gonna price a revalve, however, I'm guessing the margin between new and used is dangerously narrow - chances are I'm a pass.

Best of luck with the sale.

-Zach

rharris19 01-10-2011 09:09 PM

They are valaved for 8-14kg from the factory. The closer to the center the better. So this would be the valving that you would get if you wanted 10kg. The original springs for this set are 10kg and valaved accordingly from the factory.

rharris19 01-13-2011 02:34 PM

913kent 11-13-2011 06:56 AM

please advise me further (price, availability and details) about the turbo kit and link/ecu items. I thought the link worked as a piggyback to the stock ECU. Is that a OEM ECU in the picture? Not enough posts for PM so please let me know.

atli126 11-13-2011 04:59 PM

I'm also interested in the link.
