Turbo Setup
I pulled the turbo setup off my 01 yesterday and I would like to sell it. Here's what's included:
Full-Race Garrett 3076r turbo
Tubular stainless steel manifold (ceramic coated)
Tial 44mm wastegate
3" turbo back exhaust (magnaflow resonator, flex section & Apexi N1 canister)
RC 750cc injectors
The turbo is in great condition and has never given me any problems. It's not your typical 3076, it has the 4" anti-surge housing and has a 3" v-band outlet. The wastegate is a 44mm v-band setup that's currently plumbed back into the exhaust. The downpipe currently has 2 bungs for 02 sensors and 1 bung for my egt. There's a 3-point brace that's welded to the second portion of the downpipe and has a mounting point that's bolted to the transmission. The only questionable part is the actual manifold itself. It currently has a 1/2" hairline crack along the top of the 3rd runner where its welded to the flange. I can either have this fixed or leave it to the next owner to have it fixed.
I have a few other items that could be included if a buyer needed them such as the Hydra, Precision intercooler, bov and intercooler piping, but it would be extra. I'm asking $2000 for the setup as is and I will not split this up.

Can I buy just the turbo. I just wanted to be the first. You know it will not be the last.

Here's some older pictures, it's the same exact stuff though. The coating has held up decently on the manifold and downpipe over time but it's not nearly as bright as the picture. I'm going to get everything cleaned up and inspected this weekend so I will be posting some better pictures at that time. There's your pictures Stan, now go work on your car.

I've been looking at other cars for the past several months and I already know what I want, an S2000. I'd even be willing to trade my car and all my spares straight up for the right S2000. Time to take a step back and enjoy a stock car for awhile.

What a shame. Going from drags to road course has taken it's toll apparently. Another thread where an MT guy's moving to s2k. Damn them and their great chassis, high revving engine, speed and reliability right out of the box.

Damn, this is a steal for what your selling. It's just too much turbo for what I'm looking to put down or I'd snag it. :(

Jayl if you get a S2000 they are extremely reliable supercharged. My buddy had one that was featured in modified mag. Once he put a turbo on and cranked up the boost he had alot of problems. The guy that bought it may be interesed in selling it but I believe it has a bad motor now. However it is one of the cleanest s2000 I have ever seen, but definitely not a daily driver.

I'm looking for a completely stock S. There's a few other options that I'm exploring, but a completely stock S is the end goal. Right now it's all about seat time without any other worries.

Sad to see this monster parted :(
btw-that is one sexy *** manifold, wish I could have something even remotely reseble it...
Let me know if you need help finding a stock S, I am a dealer and have access to lots of dealer auctions, maybe I can help...
Cheers

Thanks for all the kind words. I may be putting the S2K idea on hold for a little while. I think I have another option that will allow me to get plenty of seat time for even less money.
As for the turbo setup, I'd be willing to split up certain portions if someone was interested. The manifold, turbo, wastegate, and downpipe need to be sold together since they are designed to work together. If that's of interest to someone, please send me a pm to discuss the idea. The FM engine has been sold. Still hoping to put a full list of items together shortly with current pictures.
