I have two NB2 6 speed gearboxes for sale in Jersey City NJ which is close to NYC. I an not aware of a reasonable way to ship unfortunatelly.

I had a transmission shipped to me, guy strapped it to a pallet and shipped it through SAIA. I picked it up at the terminal.

 

I have shipped them UPS Ground across the country. Build a box out of 3/8" plywood and 2x4s. The total weight has to be under 150lbs but that's very doable. Way cheaper than any freight option.

 

145K is now $400
Comes with shiftier, I would prefer to sell locally.

 

I received a trans in a cardboard box with lots of card board chunks for packaging. I ship diffs by wrapping them in carpet padding and stretch wrap. UPS for anything under 150lbs and use Fastenal logistics for anything over that

Honestly I haven't cross shoppe greyhound since the nearest Depot is 2hrs away. From what I'm seeing on the sale pages it's possibly cheaper .

Yes, Jersey City is right across the river from Manhattan. By the way this gearbox is from 2001 black car vin JM1NB353210202022

 

Now I need to figure out if that's the gen 1 or gen 2...

 

Easy way is to measure the shifter bushing, later model boxes are bigger.
