and I am neither. Just tired of seeing something go on for so long and no results.
I do know how to tactifully take care of situations; which might be why I have a favors owed to me, and not walking around looking over my shoulder waiting to see if I am going get taken to the field and "aired" out.
I don't recall any suggestion of "Hiring" of any kind......
I also don't recall making any "veiled threats" as you say, I plainly voiced my opinion. Sure, I think this poor sap deserves to **** teeth for a month. I never stated that I am going make sure that he does. That is a freedom I have, and can live by.
Whatever the outcome, the youngster gets what he gets.
Kmag seems to have already taken this upon himself, and that is great.
I do not want interfere with any undertakings that will detriment his task of dealing with the issue.
And as far as comparing to a ball bearing....atleast I gave him enough credit as being "greased".

update- after threats of legal action I recieved this email from Justin today-
Look man you dont have do this i cant make it get there any faster its in the mail. i cant do anything about that part, im at work i dont have the tracking number on hand. but when i get the chance and get computer access ill send you the tracking #.
At this point the only thing I believe is that he has limited computer access, I have been waiting for a tracking number for 10 days, and if the part was in the mail I cant imagine it taking this long cept for maybe a delivery from the barefoot mailman, I could have driven to his house and been back by now. so the saga continues,oh and k-mag is the ****** man !

I don't understand how getting to a computer will allow him to get you a tracking number. You get a tracking number on you receipt when you ship something... it's printed ON THE RECEIPT... a piece of paper the cashier at FedEx puts in your HAND. He could read it to you over the phone or text it.
This guy is just one blatant bullshit lie after another. I bet he sold the parts on eBay weeks ago. The slowest and cheapest ground shipping you can get doesn't take 10days from KY to FL.

Well, we may have success. I just received a phone call from Justin about 10 min. ago. He has both valve covers. Neither one has been mailed. I am picking them up tomorrow.
I will post pictures and the final episode of this guy's reign of terror.
I don't do this for a living, but raising four boys (the youngest one is now 25) gives me an upper hand in dealing with situations like this. Believe me, this is a walk the part next to what I've had to deal with them.

I think that even after he gives the valve covers back (if he will), he still deserves TO GET THE LIVING **** KNOCKED OUT OF HIM, AS WELL AS REPORTED TO EVERY SINGLE AGENCY THAT CARES!!! Oh and then in a few weeks when he heals up, get his *** beat again just as a reminder for future.

Fixed it. I am having trouble believing he has ever shipped anything in his life with the way he is communicating with the board members. He sounds like a 16 year old with way too much imagination who has a shop class where he can polish stuff on free time or after school. maybe after school or summer school got out he lost the privledges to these facilities and that was his "flood." This is the greatest bit of entertainment I've had in a while, I must say. Although I realize this is serious buisness and its never fun for someone to get screwed like the board members here have. I really hope Ken gives it to this kid good. I don't think anyone mentioned it, but this would be a good thing to mention to his counlser/principal at school, and at least his parents, but thats going to happen anyway, it seems. Subscribed for sure.

What another great day for a drive! Perfect weather, and a chance to listen to my favorite Tom Waits CD.
I have in my possession, both valve covers. They will be shipping out via. UPS today. I will send Dan and Phil the tracking numbers later this afternoon when I get them.
The long and short of it is, Justin is kid who thinks that other people are just like his high school buddies. Things can wait and he can operate on his time frame and whims. A little brain dead, and needs time to grow up. I guess that the switch in his head has yet to turn on, and that you can't screw with people who are adults, especially when you take their money in exchange for a service.
I'll post more on this tonight when I get home.
