Default Why buy Begi when you can have Strifes 5/8 Oil Drain Kit!

Up for sale is my 5/8's oil drain kit. I am supplying 2ft of high pressure/high temp hose with clamps, 5/8's hose barb, as well as a 5/8's bit, and 3/8's N.P.T Tap, and some thread locker to round it off.

The tap and bit sales for 19.50 from Begi. I am offering the tap, bit, clamps, hose, barb fitting, and thread dressing all for 30 dollars shipped.

I pretty much used the bit and tap for my oil drain line and I no longer need it...

My price that I paid for all this is below...

19.99 for the 58's bit.
13.50 for the 3/8 N.P.T tap.
3.00/ft for 5/8's hose.
2.50 for the 5/8's hose barb.
75 cents for two hose clamps.
2.00 for thread locker.

41.00 dollars total.

Heck I used 5/8's heater hose with heat protecting insulation near the turbo. I figure it should be fine. I am using 5/16 transmission cooler line for my oil feed as well...

If mine last me one year, as is advertised with the BEGI S series oil feed and oil drain lines, then i'll be happy.

Yea, be prepared, 3 - 6 months, Heater hose will start to look spongy, and gooey... It will not stand up to petrolium products. You will need to replace with fuel grade hose.

I did EXACTLY the same a while back, Now with fuel grade, its fine.

You should be using high temp silicone "oil-safe" type hose. That heater line will fail promptly with oil running through it. Even with a gravity fed source, I wouldn't use it.
