I bought a hardtop from a 1990 and I put it on my '99 a while ago. It's only held on by the frankenstein bolts in the back, and the latches in the front. I have the side latches as they came with my top, but I don't have the actual panels that they latch onto in the car. Where can I find these? Who has em, and how much do you want for em?

He's talking about bolting your hardtop to the car with plates.

I did it and it's great not having the squeeky hardware anymore. Downside is I can't take my top off easily anymore, but meh.

 

Lemmie know what the setup is worth to ya. I think I still have them sitting here

 

I have a set of side latches and striker plates off my car I also found most of the bolts that came off. They have been modified to allow use of the latches with a Hard Dog roll bar. Let me know Via pm.
