I have a 4.10 torsen in my car. I have a clutch pack to put in it, but would then try and sell the torsen. I figure there has to be someone in socal with a 4.10 open rear that wants a torsen? How about we make a trade?

It seems to me that 1.8 4.10 open diffs go for about $200 at planet miata. And complete 4.10 torsens go for about $700. So for $500 and your old diff, you can have mine.

as always, someone speak up with this doesn't seem right. And if you have any other crazy ideas or offers lmk.

I'm in Irvine and the torsen comes out of the car this weekend.

Trickerz, he has a torsen in his car right now that is gear based. He has an RX7 clutch-type sitting in his garage that he wants to swap in. Instead of removing his differential and then having days of downtime swapping in the clutch-type, he wants to buy a spare open diff so he can swap in the clutch-type and then perform the torsen-to-clutch swap in 1-2 hours. It's a great way to save downtime.

I don't care if my car is down. If someone else is looking for a torsen, I'd like to trade pumpkins. It will save that person down time. I want to put a clutch pack into the open diff and would expect to do that after someone swapped me their diff.
