Default WTT Corbeau LE Pro for Elise seats

These are direct bolt in replacements for Elise seats - they're really nice and have shoulder and sub strap holes, but they're a little short in the torso for me. Willing to trade for stock Elise seats, possibly plus cash on your side depending on what you have.

Link to the seats:

How tall are these compare to stock Elise seats? Where are you located?

Can't help with that, but here's a thread bump.

I didn't know this seat existed, and can only find them for sale on the European Corbeau site. Could you share how you got a set stateside?

I'd guess the headrest is around 2" lower on these than stock Elise seats. Corbeau also makes a stock Elise style seat (the LE standard) and shows them as around 3" taller, so that should be close. Unfortunately those are important inches for me.

I bought them directly from Corbeau USA. They had a set in-house, so the lead time was not super long and they were cheaper than Sector 111 was selling them for. They really are nice seats - I took the pads out to drive into work today and that helped quite a bit, but I'm now dailying this car so the more durable upholstery is a plus for me too.

Ahh. I have the same prob. Being all torso, I'll need that extra 3 inches too.

Not to thread jack (I'd swap with you if these were LE seats),
but how did you contact Corbeau? Do they sell the LE in the states?

I just emailed them - info@corbeau.com . They were really helpful.

I don't know if they have the standard version - I originally asked about those, but they said they had the pro version in stock, so I went for that.

How about just buying Elise and selling these?

Maybe a separate thread should be made, don't want to crap all over this for sale thread...

I contacted Corbeau and it seems the seats would have to be imported. This is the email I got back in short order after asking Corbeau about Elise seats.

Hello Eric,

Thank you for your interest in Corbeau! The LE and LE Pro have to be brought in from out sister company, Corbeau UK, in England. Freight for one or two seats from England to the US typically costs $300. If you have any other questions or would like to place and order please let me know.
Maybe you got really lucky cmcgregor and they had one in the States? Unless I could get someone else in and buy multiple seats, I'm not sure I'm interested in paying that much just to ship a single seat. I didn't even pay that much for my Momo Start.

not sure if you've checked or not, but there's a GB happening over at LotusTalk for an aftermarket seat. It looks like a handful of lotus owners are upgrading, maybe you could try PM'ing some of those folks for their old seats.

Bump. Anyone is welcome to try them out if they're close by and considering a set.

Hi, I'm aware that this is an old thread. Are those seats still available for sale/trade? I have a set of 05 black elise seats in good condition that I can trade. I'm in the Bay Area. If they are still available, please shoot me a PM. Thanks.

They're long gone. Email Corbeau if you want a set.
