Long shot, I know, but I need something that would work with glass window soft top and hard top. This one actually fits under a hard top but interferes with side latches. I do not want to bolt the sides of the hard top down.
This one is SCCA and NASA approved where the Sport models are not.

I would prefer to trade for a Sport with no diagonals. I would consider similar Autopower or Boss Frog bars, too. This one is a little taller than the Sport models and Hard Top models and the height may help it qualify for SCCA use where the bar must be 2" over the driver's head.

I'm in BR, LA and would be willing to travel a reasonable distance or maybe ship/receive via Greyhound.

The bar I want is $345 new and this one is $495 new so I don't think this is an unreasonable offer. LMK.

Is it an M1 or M2? If it's an M2, I have a DD Sport that I'd be willing to trade if you don't find one without diagonals.

Actually the hard top does go on. And, it doesn't have the cross bar in the back. It could be an M2.

 

M2 Sport? I have a 99 top on the 96 with glass window so I think it would have to be M2.

 

Yes, that's an M2 HDHC since it does not have the integrated harness bar that the M1's have.

 

Yes, I'm learning which is which. IIRC when I put it in it has tabs for harness mounts. My only real gripe is I can't use the hard top side latches. I would prefer no diagonals, but if it ever flips then the diagonals wouldn't be so bad.

I will consider that. The one I want is $345 new plus $85 shipping. The shipping is the killer. Of course, the one I want to trade is $495 plus $85, so still a good deal for the right person.

 

I've got a hard dog ace. Its in very good shape. Its for a 91 though. I just installed it last Friday. Have the hard dog foam pad, UPS just dropped it off. Let me know.
