Default 1990 Miata high idle with Garrett turbo and DIYPNP

I've just finished building a turbo install with a GT20 - been able to start the car and it seems to run well but idles pretty high, around 1500 rpm.

Is that to be expected?

I'm learning more about TunerStudio every day so any recommendations appreciated.

I am a novice on this one!

I've taken it for a spin and I also noticed that when declutched the rpm rose on its own when you'd normally expect it to drop - I think I've sorted that... when I've got a couple of other niggles sorted I'll do some log runs and see where we're at.

TIA

This sounds like it needs some fine tuning - or it may just plain be a vacuum leak. If you can't find any vacuum leaks, please post a data log of the high idle and a copy of your MSQ.

Thanks for the reply, since posting I reloaded the correct base map and have been tweaking and it's idling a lot lower and isn't running away... fingers crossed I'm on the right track now.
