Default '94 MS2 PNP Tach question

Hey all, hopefully someone could help me out with my tach issue. I killed my original '94 coils doing a compression test (forgot to unplug them), and got myself a set of D585 coils from a junkyard from a chevy 1500. They work great, but my only issue is that i don't have a tachometer, the original coils are 4 pin, from my understanding they have the igniter built in. I've read that you can jump with a 1k 1/4 watt resistor, pins B+ and IG- in diagnostic box. Are there any settings in ms2 that need to be changed?
I have not checked the fuse under the dash yet, but when the weekend comes i will check it.

Relevant post, but it was a ms2 built by Braineack. Maybe similar issue?

On my 96 the tach is driven by an output from the megasquirt.

Could say i use the tach out signal and feed it into the cluster/tachometer?

ECU PIN 1H drives the tachometer from the coil pack, which is the brown wire @ coilpack.
