99 MS3 Basic - rev Built. Car slower than when on Stock ecu
Hello guys,
Just got back from my local time attack event, first event with the new ECU in the car and I'm rather disappointed. I was 1.5 secs off my previous best time (on stock ecu). I looked at my aim solo data and on the 2 long straights I was down 8-9mph. My timing 29 degrees at 100kpa.
At first I was having issues with knock sensitivity. So I backed down those settings from .86 to .40 so it wasn't pulling 10 degrees at 5000 to redline. The logs looked better it wasn't pulling timing but still couldn't make a better time.
I've just street tuned the car.
-engine mods-
msm intake cam
toyota COPS
RB header
2.5" exhaust
01+ up pistons
93 oct
Any ideas?

Yes N yes I'm not dumb.
I added a good amount of timing in the middle of timing map to be closer to the stock timing map. Still just have street tuned it am going to dyno tune it this coming spring N see what it's making power wise.
