Miata Turbo Forum - Boost cars, acquire cats. - I think I may have fried my ignitor

so i had my car running with the base map on megasquirt. Then i ran into some trouble were i would load up my msq file and it would say there is a comflict between the controlller file type and the one from megasquirt. it said that "this is usually a very serious problem" then it sad that the file recieved from controller was ">boot....." "terminate megasquirt now?" i hit no by mistake and now the car wont start and it doesnt seemt o recognize the megasquirt at all now. could i have fried the megasquirt? when i turn the key now the car canks but doenst fire. is there a test i can do to see if it fried either the ecu or ignitor? i should of just left well enough alone. :vash::vash::vash: . also when i tried to reload my firmware, it said that the download failed, the exact same thing happened here:

im almost positive its because of my fucking vista laptop. my concern now though is getting the thing running, or fixed :vash:
