Default Link (94-95) to MSPNP2 (94-95 in a 96) help a noob

Flame suit on

I've searched with some results but not completely

I just installed a MSPNP2 (new) for a 94-95 into my 96 (rewired for the 94-95 Flyin Miata Link ECU I removed)

I wired the Boost Controller and AEM Wideband to the accesory plug, everything else is using the stock harness.

Upon key "on" i get a buzzing from what I think is the IAC (i've read that the frequency is wrong, but i havn't gotten to double check that since my tuning laptop isn't getting enough juice from the car to stay on.

So, using my neighbors when he's home.

Anyways, i'll check the frequency when I can to see what it's at and if i can set it to stop making noise. It does stop if i unplug the connector

Problem 2, the software thinks i'm at 1000% throttle whether i'm off it or on it, no change registered in the tuning software.

Any thoughts or ideas?

When you calibrate the TPS, what ADC values do you get at closed and open throttle?

Turned out I pulled a ground wire from the ECU terminal causing the 1000% TPS reading

As to the buzzing, it comes and goes. I havn't adjusted the freq yet, but after getting replies from you guys, it says it's more an annoyance than a problem.

But i am waiting on a new cable to come in so i can work on the car via my laptop (instead of the work laptop they won't let me take home anymore)
