MSPNP2 base map error? Paging DIY!

So I've been really struggling with cold start issues on a few MS2PNPs I've tuned recently. One for a 90-93 with a MSM swap, a 99, and a 94. The 94 is the only one with the older V1.2 board.
I just found out about 10 minutes ago that all the base maps, under "Startup/idle", and "idle control", valve mode is set to "inverted, 100%=off".
Which is backwards from all the tunings I've done on MS3s and MSpros. I've been wasting a lot of time tuning backwards, only to find out about this little issue.
Was this on purpose, and if so, why?! Or just a mistake overlooked in the base map?

This is intentional and not an error. It's just how the MSPNP hardware is set up and has no other bearing.

So when I'm tuning and want the valve to open more during cranking, do I wanna take duty cycle away, or add it? Aka, if it's not starting well at 50%, do I want to try 55% or 45%.
