Default Planning mspnp install

Hi,

I've just took the plunge and ordered an mspnp for my '91 mx5.

I've already got my Greddy installed with bandaids that will be replaced with the mspnp.

I was thinking of removing all bandaids and wire my wastegate open to start tuning from stock first. What do you guys think of this ? Or should I remove the bandaids and start tuning with the turbo immediately?

I've also got new 315cc injectors, should I install those before tuning or install these and then start the mspnp install ?

Last question, should I remove the Vortex FPR that came with the Greddy kit, or should that stay installed ?

Thanks for your help guys.

Richard

take everything out, even the FPR, and you don't have to disable the wastegate but if you have questions like this then you'll probably **** something up if you don't.

You don't have to wire it open, just unhook it.

Well I'm just being careful. I'd like to start the mspnp install from a good base and not have to worry about the mechanical stuff but just focus on configuring the ms.

Thanks for your reply.

read my dyno thread, it will tell you how to tune. Follow the mspnp website direction. Get it to idle, then use MLV VE analyzer to get <101kpa tuned. Once that's done, start adding boost. Once its tuned and drivable, turn on enrichments and adjust those. Then, go to the dyno and tune spark.

I love you.
