correct.

wasted spark is fine, but seq. spark is better.

I'd rather have seq. fuel over seq. spark if given the choice.

With the car in the run position, and on a charger I'm seeing 12.5v at each one of the four connectors when plugged into the ignition module. If I disconnect the ignition module and check for continuity I get a tone showing the circuit is closed on all four connectors. I'm tempted to disconnect the connectors going to the two sets of coils to see if I have continuity there was well.

Fair enough. I have an MS3 and tend to forget that the MS2 is missing stuff like this.

The car is now running on all 4 cylinders. It even shocked me a couple of times when removing the coils to prove it.

I removed everything from car took it all inside and checked for continuity and power across the harness. I reconnected everything after making sure the grounds were sound, double checked the tune and started the car. All seems well, and now I'm just working on tuning.

As frustrating and timing consuming as this was I learned a lot. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback or suggestions.

as the guy in indian will say: Did you unplug and plug it back in?

Wasted spark COP is not the same as the OEM wasted spark from a coil pack.

An OEM, wasted spark coil pack uses one coil winding to produce spark energy for two cylinders. A COP on wasted spark is what's known as "Direct Ignition" using a single coil per cylinder, it simply fires in a wasted spark pattern.
