Ok. I figured out that I needed to "run as the administrator" I changed the files in notepad, saved them, they appear to be saved when I reopen the configurator but when I open megatune, it doesn't seem to have changed anything. Am I missing a step somewhere?
You don't actually see anything different in MegaTune, other than the gauge reading right.
Sorry to bug you again. After I changed everything and test drove, I opened the "coolant-related density" window and it was really screwed up. Temps were changed and enrichment percentages were all over the place. Instead of a nice linear graph, it was zig zagging back and forth across the graph. It was acting really strange so I uninstalled then reinstalled megatune. Everything worked fine again but was back at square one with the graph reading coolant temps instead of IAT. When I changed everything in megatune, I wasn't connected to the megasquirt. not sure if that had something to do with it. Or perhaps I saved something incorrect. The only thing I changed in the curve editor was "coolant" to "mat" on the "xbins" line. Then changed the gauge from "cltgauge" to "afrgauge" but in megatune it still showed the "mat" gauge??? This lead me to believe that the changes were not taking effect and confused me. Im also confused as to why the curve editor says "coolantgauge" but the window displays the "mat" gauge. Any help here would be appreciated.
