well, additional tool needed for BEGI S2 (or S3) is a 14/15 mm wrench that you shave waaaaaay down. Including the thickness of the shaft... A total pain in the ass. But I now have the manifold and turbo bolted in and tightened up. The DP is bolted to the turbo but still loose. I am giving up for the day.
New cat is on order, as are flanges for said cat, and MS/air scooper/injectors/fuel pump/rest of the piping are all on back order with BEGI... It would have been a great day for a drive out here today... |
I don't understand why everyone shaves down a wrench. I didn't have to and I have a Tial wastegate bolted up right in the damn way of turning a wrench as well. Unless you're trying to turn the wrench from up top i don't see the problem.
I see your cameltoe and raise you one moose knuckle. http://www.v7n.com/forums/attachment...oseknuckle.jpg |

Whats even better is there is another oconnor local to me that i have been talking to through our local BAMO mailing list about a cherry picker. So if oconnor lives in the bay area this will be a very small world. |

O'Connor had three downpipes with his name on it. I think Donnie made a couple extra by accident. I would not worry too much.

Fired it up for the first time today, thanks to gotpsi. Still need to program the EBC on the MSpnp and weld up the exhaust. Also the Air scooper. Thats going to need some engineering. The air dam doesn't bolt up or really fit. But some cutting and rewelding and it should fit. That will be done in two weeks.
Whew what an adventure... |
