I'de put it towards the rear,, and then I would put a 12'' resonator in the middle ;p
Resonator = No pops/rice garbage. They are really inexpensive too

I have a straight through 2.25 exhuast from DP to side outlet. No cat/muffler.

I think it's obnoxious. hehe. I like the benefits, but the noise is too much, especially in town when it reverbs/bounces off of objects. Perhaps it's because its right beside me. /shrug

 

nah, my 3" pipe sticks out the back and it bounces off everything too

 

tunnels and underpasses give me goosebumps in both cars

The OTM actually came from the factory with less muffling than the Miata has.. haha

With the muffler it sounds pretty nice, is there any hint of the turbine in the exhaust remaining? I couldn't hear it.

rain, snow, salt sand repeat, about 30 times each month durring winter

i have to wash my car religiously just to keep it in the shape its in
