I've been thinking about buying the begi dp for the greddy kit for a month - a month and a half ago it was on their site for 325.00 for mild steel which I remember distinctly because I was happy that it was at least cheaper than the 375.00 ones for their own turbo kits.
So I went on their website today considering pulling the trigger on one, and they changed it to 375.00. I call them up to ask if they raised the price or if they made a mistake on the site and they aren't making them right now - apparently they had some sort of issue with the ones they made and they have someone out there with a revised version testing out the revisions. If/when they hear back from him they may possibly put it back into production. But they still raised it to 375.00.
This sucks. Now there is NOBODY who makes an upgrade for the greddy dp.
And yes I think Jim b does?? but getting ahold of him can be... difficult.
What to do... I neeeed a better downpipe.

I can probably arrange sending BEGi a turbo and manifold if it will help them

anyone got a link to a current page for RM's downpipe? I can't find it.
I have the RacingMazda 2.5 flex on my setup. I'm in the process now of coating it with high temp paint and putting exhaust wrap on it.

is there any downside to the wastegate tube collecting right by the turbo on the RM dp versus begi's divorced wastegate design?
I believe the divorced design showed little gains in hp #'s, but don't quote me on that.
Also, I'm not sure if id trust RM... see this link https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/sho...t=racing+mazda
Look around a bit then decide if you want to send them $250+
Turbotony is your best bet, im having him make me one now. His email is turbotony2k at yaoo dot com

Emailed Tony. Will see about that route.
its not being offered on teh site because they are redesigning it. last i heard, about a month ago, a unit was sent to a customer to test. Haven't heard anything since. kind of getting impatient,, they've had my turbo and manifold since december, and I'd kind of like to install it now.
