Default Begi S-2 install

Got part of kit this week and figured I would get a jump on prep and install while I wait for back ordered items

Just like everyone else I was giving way too much thought to drilling oil pan..After getting under car and looking up.. I decided to rip out everything having to do with a/c...so much more room to work with. That took about 30 mins. Drilling and tapping..took like 20 minutes...going slow and using lots of grease, and stepping up bit size a little at a time. If you dont have a bit stop you can do what I did to insure you dont go in too far. Stack a bunch of nuts on the drill bit then a few washers on the end till you have about 1/4 inch of the tip sticking out..this will insure you dont go in too far. tap went in straight no need for JB weld or any other quick fix.

Intercooler in...AFM delete done new IAT sensor installed in inlet...just waiting for turbo..DP..some steel braided lines..and clamps. With a little luck they will get here before next weekend.
While I'm waiting for those I will clean up all the rats nest of wires in the dash and install gauges in center vents.

just a quick thanks to everyone who has shared info and tips, made things so much easier...and instead of asking stupid questions at every little problem and pissing off senior members...search..search..and search some more and usually you find what you are looking for.

Those headlights look good. I have been considering them on and off but they sure are pricey.. Do you have any more shots of the headlights?

Why are your IC pipes different materials? Ones stainless, the other is painted or PCd.

Just got off the phone with BEGi....they are sending me stainless pipes..when I recieve them to send back Pcd ones. Something has to be said for their level of customer service.
Well build is on hold...the remainder of parts are waiting for backorder now would be a good time to go over wiring and grounds. Will update with pics when I finish.....soon I hope

The tubes post IC are stainless. The tubes pre-IC are mild steel powdercoated. We can try powder coating the stainless tubes, but they do not always come out as pretty.
