Hi,

I am trying to get my dp installed on my 1.8. The begi instructions seem to say to assemble the two pieces together and then mount the dp by inserting from the engine bay and threading through to the cat. I can't seem to get the dp as there is interference with the valve cover and bell housing.

Is the dp supposed to be inserted as two parts and then joined together when after the fact?

Is there some other trick?

 

calm down everyone: I got my dp in. It was a matter of loosening the motor mounts and then jacking up the engine a little.
