JDM's 94 02 Miata MX5 1 8L T25 T28 Turbo Kit 275HP | eBay

Don't skimp. If you're not paying at least a grand for everything, you're not doing it right.

The ebay kit is fine for your goals. You could spend hours reading threads on this site about diy kits and I'd wager you'll come to the same conclusion. Just buy the above linked kit and turn up the boost!

You obviously didn't read the "275HP +" part.
That's nothing to sneeze at, you know.

Before this thread derails I am going to throw you a bone. Your question was way too vague and shows a complete lack of effort on your part to research. You would get much better responses if you told us

a bit about the car
your goals for it
your budget (which you initially left out)
your experience with modifying cars
some ideas you have already thought about (this shows that you have done some research) and just want to narrow down.

Otherwise this thread will turn into a **** show and will probably end up with you getting banned or just never coming back on your own.

^ LOL NOob get out of here. Only 1347 post count you obviously don't know ****.

Seriously the ebay kit is tried and true. Every one knows how good they are. Ever wonder how these ebay turbo kit sellers stay in business? It's by selling a ton of these kits! Browse the build threads and see just how many people on this forum have them!

But seriously Ryan_G is right. Please be less vague when posting. It will help us tremendously in helping you.

I'd only buy an eBay kit from the member ILoveTacoTaco. Biggest power and most dependable turbo kit ever.

i have a 94 miata 1.8 stock only have straight pipe exhaust im only looking for about 250 to the wheels. i have some experience modifying cars but my friend is a master tech at ford and said he would help. i was looking into getting an arttech manifold and getting a second hand gt28 with a custom downpipe and exhaust. id run megasquirt or if i can find a cheap haltech id run that. also i need to find injectors but my friend has rx7 injectors i might use.

When you're talking about a basic turbo kit there are 2 options: flyin miata and bell engineering, there are probably thousands of threads recommending those 2 and there are no other bolton kits that come close to comparing for price/quality/reliability. Each manufacturer offers a wide selection of largely upgradeable and customizable kits.

If you don't necessarily need a full off the shelf, bolton kit. Artech does great hotside parts (turbo/downpipe) if you want to piece together the rest of the kit yourself. Or you can collect parts from the for sale section, which are most likely going to be pieces of FM/BEGI kits that other people upgraded, you can save a good bit of money doing that.

Prefab kit for $2400 you aren't gonna really get much. The FM kit without an ECU and injectors is $3000, but you need an ECU and injectors obviously and you don't have those.

You'll need to build it yourself. As already indicated there are a lot of parts for sale cheap on here.

2400 is going to be tough for a pre-fab kit. I think you could get the begi kit with the chinese turbo and no intercooler with a mega squirt for that money almost.

We're not sure, nobody has ever asked this question before.
