Bipes Installation Question.

http://www.frontiernet.net/~bipesauto/BipesACU/

Am I reading this correctly, The cas wire (which is white) needs to be cut in half then put in two different places, and afm wire (which is red) needs to be tee'd off to the bipes?
Also, air temp sensor, where is that located? Or do I just Tee that from the ecu to the bipes?
I mean....Am I reading this right guys, Do I locate all these wires from the ecu and Tee the two off and cut the cas in half and put in two different spots?

everything you need is at the ECU.

everything but the CAS wire will be as simple as tapping into the wire...so either using vampire clips (not recommened), or carefully peeling back the coating of the wire you need, wrapping yours around that exposed wire and soldering it, then cover with shrink-wrap or electrical tape.

for the CAS you need to actually break the connection, so the wire goes in the Bipes and back out. Not just tapping off the wire for a signal.

Can someone tell me what the timing should be on the cas itself?

Braineack 06-12-2007 09:16 PM

at idle you should be at 10* (with 10 and gnd jumped)

it doesn't need to be there does it? I left mine where I had it before the turbo, at 12. I just pulled approx. 2 more degrees then I thought I needed.
