ok well i got my setup installed running a saab fmic and a greddy type rs bov. well i have a autometer boost gauge hooked up and all i keep seeing is 3 lbs of boost. is that about right? ok well here is the reason i ask. i have this mbc i got it from ebay

well i installed it and turned it up to try to get it back to 5lbs well the car now feels like it is running more boost s i turn up according to the mbc. but my gauge keeps reading 3 lbs how can i check? i dont wanna be boosting to much since i dont know what im at. please someone help me so i cn run my car im gunna try to check the boost gauge and see if there are any leeks. i need to know how much boost im at so i can adjust accordingly.

 

Here are a few things to look for.
is the mbc on the line before the boost gauge? Is it on a seperate line?
are the lines to the boost gauge tight? is the waste gate loose?. i hope this helps

 

i was told to run the boost gauge from as close to the intake manny as possible is it gunna be a better reading running it from the turbo? i have the line running from turbo to mbc then to the actuator that opens and closes the waste gate. well i found out today at work during my break that i had a leak in my pipes one of the hoses wasnt real tight so i tightened it after work well lets just say 6 lbs feels awesome and i thjought 3 lbs was fast.......

 

Awsome yes the routing seems to be in order. I thought for a moment you had the gauge tee'd in between the MBC and Wastegate. Yeah 6 psi is fun keep it up.
