Default Can't get 5/8" ATP drain hose onto Greddy turbo.

I bought this to replace the heater hose I was using.

Hi Temp Rubber/Silicone Oil Drain Hose - 5/8" (-10 AN equivalent ID): atpturbo.com

On the assumption that it would fit. Well, I got it onto the fitting that goes into the pan, but getting it onto the Greddy turbo drain outlet seems to be impossible.

I've tried lubricating the inside and the fitting. I've tried to stretch the hose out a bit. Nothing is working. It just doesn't seem to be the right size. Any tricks for this? Has anyone else used this hose with this turbo and had the same issue?

Yep, have one in the garage, few seconds in there most hoses comply.

Also try putting the end into boiling water for a little bit. Worked for me, and my oil cooler.

I ended up doing this.

I only got probably half an inch over the lip, but considering how hard it is to pull the thing off and that I got a clamp on it and that it's just a drain I don't think it will cause me problems.

Boy, what a bitch that was. The other end was relatively easy to get on by comparison.
